Star Trek: Voyager stars Tim Russ “Lieutenant Commander Tuvok” and Ethan Phillips “Neelix” will be at Paradise City Comic Con! Star Trek: Voyager is the fifth series in the Star Trek franchise.
Tim Russ is an actor, director, screenwriter and musician, best known for his roles as Lieutenant Commander Tuvok on Star Trek: Voyager, Frank on Samantha Who?, and as Principal Franklin on the Nickelodeon live-action teen sitcom iCarly. You also know him from his role in Spaceballs as the Trooper that is combing the desert. Russ has been extensively involved in the Star Trek franchise, as a voice and film actor, writer, director and producer. Prior to being cast as Tuvok, Russ portrayed the roles of Devor in Star Trek: The Next Generation, a Klingon Deep Space Nine, and a crew member of the USS Enterprise-B in the film Star Trek Generations. He has co-written Star Trek comic books, and is the director and one of the stars of the fan series Star Trek: Of Gods and Men and Star Trek: Renegades.
Ethan Phillips is best known for his roles as Neelix on Star Trek: Voyager and Pete on Benson. Ethan began his prolific Star Trek career in 1990 playing the Ferengi character, Dr. Farek, in the “Ménage à Troi” episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Phillips went on to play Neelix on Star Trek: Voyager from 1995. Phillips stayed with the series through its entire seven-season run; he also cameoed as a holographic nightclub maître d’ in the 1996 film Star Trek: First Contact, and appeared as a Ferengi pirate captain on an episode of Star Trek: Enterprise. He reprised his role as Neelix alongside fellow Star Trek: Voyager actors Tim Russ, Robert Picardo, Garrett Wang and Jeri Ryan in Star Trek Online’s 2014 expansion Delta Rising. He co-authored the Star Trek Cookbook with William J Birnes, and performed in the Star Trek Internet fan film Of Gods and Men.
